About No. 165

This painting was originally titled, “Carnaval,” meant to imply something carnal but, something about it wasn’t working. The picture was finished and looked okay but, just okay. I went back in and repainted everything although, I kept the subject in place but repainted her darker, like a silhouette or shadow. The original idea is the same, it deals with voyeurism and I kept to that concept but, thought the background would be better suited as a pool of water or moon lit path.
